Layna in Ohio...

Evan in Ohio....

Well it's been two months since i've updated this blog! We've just been so busy with "daily life" and I still only have my Netbook instead of a desktop with scanner and printer, so everything has been slower (technology wise).

I went to New Albany, OH last week for work with a couple of co-workers. It was fun seeing old friends and shopping and eating!! I was able to eat dinner with Melissa, Tom, Layna and Evan. It was my 1st time of meeting Evan and he was so alert and happy! He is only 4 mo old.

Then we had a cook out at my Dad's house to see my Aunt Addy and Uncle Mike visiting from Florida. They are here cleaning my Grandma's house to put it back on the market. Shana, Paul and Johnny have been living there until this past weekend while they were looking for a house to buy. They moved to Lake Iroquois this past weekend - finally!

There was also a church service at my Grandma's church to dedicate a very large stone in the front of the church that was purchased with money from my Grandma's Memorial Fund. It looks very beautiful.

Only a few more days of school left .... YAY for all of us! We made it another year. No homework for 3 months! WOO HOO! That is such a big stressor gone for a little bit. Grayson will be in tennis lessons twice a week this summer and will continue going to gymnastics once a week.

Aleigha has been doing great. She is talking in almost complete sentences now. She Loves playing with her baby dolls and tea sets. She's getting so big so fast! I put away her winter clothes this year and I can't believe how much she has grown just in the last few months. I think she weighs about 25 lbs and Grayson only weighs 49 lbs!

Hopefully, I won't wait another two months before the next post!

Until next time..... :)

I was so surprised when I clicked on your blog and saw that you had an update!! I, too, am so happy for no homework although I am forcing my kids to do some form of school work 3 times a week. Miss Brawner supplied her class with a whole summers worth of homework-ugh!
