Christmas 2009!!!

Well it's been over a month since i've updated the blog so i better get busy. :) We had a great Christmas. It was our first Christmas with two kids! Aleigha and Grayson both really enjoyed opening presents and playing with all of their cousins. Aleigha has a horrible cold but it doesn't slow her down!

Over Christmas weekend, it snowed about 6 inches here. It's just the soft light snow so it is very pretty. We stayed home Christmas Eve and Christmas day. We had the Bittner Christmas the weekend before Christmas in Paw Paw. Then Christmas at my mom's house the day after the Bittner Christmas. We celebrated at my Dad's house the weekend after Christmas.

Grayson's 8th birthday party!

This year we had Grayson's birthday party at our house with 7 of his friends. We had it tonight (friday night) from 5-8:30 pm. They just had a free-for-all all night! We had pizza, cake, video games and toys to entertain them. They were all well behaved but very loud!! We're exhausted but Grayson had a great time. Aleigha also had a good time following all the boys around and they were all very nice to her. :)

I haven't posted in a long time so I better catch up. We've been busy as usual. Grayson is doing great in 2nd grade. He's in gymnastics now every Monday and loves it. Aleigha is 20 months old now. Her vocabulary is growing every day. It's amazing. She certainly has a big personality and loves to show it to everyone! Here are some pics from this month......

Since our home computer died, i've had to use my netbook for all of my updates and it is soooooo slow compared to a full size computer. I hope to update the blog once a month for now. It is much more time consuming now. :(

Peoria Zoo

We went to the Peoria Zoo on Saturday. It was very nice... clean and small but bigger than Miller Park. You could get pretty close to the animals too so i would recommend it to anyone with smaller kids. It was a perfect 3 hrs. There is also huge playgrounds there too.

Ohio friends

Our Ohio friends, Tom, Melissa, Layna (and soon-to-be baby brother!) all came to visit a few weeks ago. There were just so many cute pictures to choose from that I went a little overboard on this post. The kids had a great time at the Miller Park Zoo, State Farm Park playing mini-golf and swimming and playing at a park and in our back yard!
